TFL Scrappage Scheme for vans

The 2023 ULEZ expansion news comes with grant payments to successful applicants to scrap or retrofit their vehicles that do not meet the ULEZ emissions standards and switch to cleaner, greener modes of transport.

Who can apply?

This scheme is for eligible sole traders, micro-businesses with up to 10 employees and £632k turnover, and charities.
The registered address must be in the city of London or the 32 London Boroughs.
This must be your first application.

A vehicle to be scrapped:

Must be owned for at least 12 months before January 2023
Must be a pre-Euro 6 diesel or euro 4 petrol vehicle.

The replacement vehicle:

Must be leased or hired for at least 2 years.
Must be like for like with the one being scrapped. (panel van for panel van, crew cab for crew cab, etc.)
