Hire Terms & Conditions

Drivers:

25 to 69 years old; all groups.
A driving licence must have been held for a minimum of 12 Months.
The Driving Licence presented must be in date and accompanied by a valid DVLA Share Code
The Hirer must provide two forms of personal identification (i.e. utility bills, bank statement, etc…).

Mileage Allowances:

All excess mileage is charged at £0.14p + v.a.t. per mile.

Payment:

Debit or Credit Card

Cards excluded: Electron and American Express Cards.
For Long-Term and Flexi-Lease rentals, we require a £500.00 deposit.

Insurance Excess:

All rentals are subject to a £1200.00 insurance excess.
Customers may reduce the excess via CDW Cover from £1200.00 to £200.00*.
CDW Cover (Collision Damage Waiver) is available at £18.00 (inclusive) per day, 1 - 2 days, £15.00 (inclusive) per day for 3 days+
CDW does NOT cover:
Damaged or lost keys.
Overhead damage (above windscreen height).
Undercarriage damage.
Negligent damage.

General Terms:

All Vehicles are subject to availability, we reserve the right to substitute any vehicle for a similar vehicle and to upgrade a vehicle without notice to the hirer.
Advance Vehicle Rental operates a Strict Non-Smoking Policy in all our vehicles.

Overseas Use:

Vehicles may only leave the United Kingdom mainland, with prior written approval, a 30% surcharge is payable plus the cost of Overseas Breakdown cover and Green Card Insurance.
Under no circumstances may any Advance Vehicle Rental vehicle be taken outside the UK without written permission and relevant documentation from Advance Vehicle Rental.

Cancellation Fee:

Bookings cancelled with a minimum 14 days notice of the rental, will be offered a full refund of payment. This excludes all People Carrier MPV's (7 seats and above).
Bookings cancelled with less than 14 days notice of the booked rental, will forfeit the full cost of the rental by their payment method with no refund.

If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions and any such amounts paid to us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.

All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
